The Royal Easter Show 2008

On Earth Hour we went to Circular Quay just to see what the Harbour Bridge looks like without any lights, lighting it. Predictably we shouldn't have bothered as we didn't see it except for the roadway from where we were. Where were we? At Oceans Room (video) a sushi and sashimi restaurant where east meets west. We had an 8 course meal of the Chef's choice with a view of the Opera House. I know, we have such a hard life. The Opera House lights went off to but the ambient light still lit the whole place up.

The day after we went to the Royal Easter Show at the Sydney Olympic Park.
It is a bit hard to describe what it is like as there is so much of it. It is foremost an agricultural show but also boasts fairground rides, arts and crafts shows, wood chopping contests(?!), rodeo and much, much more...
